Sherlock
So I realized the other day that I haven't posted anything new in over a year. When I started third year there was just no time to paint and I found it pretty hard to do any 2d work. And now that I'm in VFX that's even more 3d. But as I was trying to paint some textures or do some matte paintings I noticed that my painting skills have gotten a lot worse so I decided to do a painting tonight. And here it is. I was browsing through photos and found a still of the show Sherlock that I really liked. I tried to get through it quickly so I only used one brush and that was the hard round. This painting took about 2 and a half hours.

YEAH!!! It's really good. Just the colours looks like he is a zombie. The head tilt helps with the zombie vibes. Pretty good for someone stuck in 3D for so long! Good job Parisa!
ReplyDeleteHaha, i wanted to play with weird colours so I found a shot that I liked and used the colours in it but intensified them a bit. Maybe it's because I've been watching too much walking dead. I think he looks like he's crying or trying to hold back a tear.
